WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Illinois Tech women's tennis team traveled to play one of the top teams in the Midwest on Tuesday night, taking on UW-Whitewater. The Warhawks down Tech 8-1.
Tech's only win of the day was in #1 singles, as Weronika Halicka, who won a tightly contested match 6-7, 6-2, 1-0 (7). Halicka and Morgan Colbert also played a tough #1 doubles match, falling 8-6.
The Scarlet Hawks will be in action next on Saturday at Judson College. The match is set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
