BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Tech women's track and field team opened the season on Saturday with a trip to Illinois Wesleyan University. Tech put forth some strong performances in the First Chance Invite.

Meet Highlights

• Monica Bhagavan was strong in the 60 Meter Dash, placing 21st with a time of 8.61s.
• Jaquelle Rowell placed 14th in the 300 Meter Dash with a time of 48.57s.
• Julia Briden placed 11th in the 1 Mile Run (6:23.03).
