Scarlet Hawks Return to Outdoor Competition For First Time Since 2018-19 at Wisconsin Lutheran

RESULTS

MILWAUKEE, WIS.—The Illinois Institute of Technology women's track & field team embarked on outdoor competition for the first time since the 2018-19 season on Saturday when they participated in the Wisconsin Lutheran College Invite. The Scarlet Hawks took 13th place out of 14 teams with seven points. NCAA Division I Marquette University notched the women's team title with 185 points.

Erin Nelson was dynamite in the 5000 meter run with a fifth-place time of 22:39.31. She built on that momentum in the 4x400 meter relay with a seven-place time of 5:23.51 with Zoey Krevitz, Jada Muldrow and Masha Staub

Muldrow was a jack-of-all-trades for the Scarlet Hawks as she notched 28th place in the 200 meter dash (31.47), and 16th place in the discus (27.63m). 

The 800 meter run saw Shannon O'Donnell (3:03.41) and Zoey Krevitz (3:15.00) register 23rd and 24th place, respectively. 

Illinois Tech will compete in the Wisconsin Lutheran Green & White Invite on Saturday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m.
