Day One of NACC Outdoor Championship in the Books for Scarlet Hawks

MILWAUKEE, WIS.—The Illinois Institute of Technology women's track & field team embarked on day one of the 2021 NACC Outdoor Track & Field Championship at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Friday. The Scarlet Hawks didn't score any points, while Aurora leads the field with 71 points.

Masha Staub paced Illinois Tech in the 100 meter dash preliminaries with a 12th-place mark of 13.76, before she took 17th in the 200 meter dash prelims with a 29.23. Shannon O'Donnell led the Scarlet Hawks in the 800 meter run prelims in 19th place with a 2:54.26.

The Scarlet Hawks will embark on day two of the 2021 NACC Outdoor Track & Field Championship tomorrow, Saturday, May 8 at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
