CHICAGO, Ill. - The Illinois Tech women's volleyball team has announced its 2018 recruiting class. This year's class features six incoming freshmen, all of which will add great versatility and enhance the program.
The six new student-athletes include three setters, two outside hitters, and one middle hitter, with the states of Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, and Texas represented.
"Our six incoming freshman brings our roster size to 18," said Head Coach Mark Johnson. "This will provide us with the depth we need to become a better team and bring the level of competitiveness in our gym to an all-new level. We have definitely dealt with the injury bug in the past, so 18 players will certainly put our mind at ease in that area. I am excited to see the impact our new student-athletes make on Scarlet Hawk volleyball."
Below is a profile on each incoming student-athlete.
