The Lady Scarlet Hawks got out to a sluggish start, and lost the opening game, but were able to play solid all-around voleyball in the following three games. The Tech women got a great contribution on offense from Karen-Maruffo Zuburan, who led both teams with 15 kills. The defense also played well, allowing MSOE to make mistakes, which they made 12 service errors compared to Tech's 7, and with blocks at the net. Natalie Freund and Sarah Hassell were the main stalwarts on defense.
