CHICAGO—The Illinois Institute of Technology women's volleyball team has announced their 2020 schedule. Four tournaments, one tri-match, one non-conference/non-tournament match and 12 NACC contests will make up the Scarlet Hawks' 2020 slate.
"Next year will be highlighted by a couple of tournaments at very competitive high-academic institutions," said Illinois Tech head volleyball coach Mark Johnston. "We will start off the year at the Lake Forest Tournament, travel out to Boston for a tournament at MIT, head to Augustana for a weekend and finish off the year down in St. Louis for a WashU Tournament. We are very excited about conference play as well as we look to make our very first NACC Tournament!"
The lone non-conference/non-tournament match of 2020 will occur in the season opener on September 1, when the Scarlet Hawks will square-off against Albion in a road affair. They will follow that with back-to-back tournaments at Lake Forest on September 4-5 and MIT on September 11-12.
NACC play will kick-off at the Keating Sports Center on September 16 against Concordia Chicago before the Scarlet Hawks will eye their third tournament of the season at Augustana (Ill.) on September 18-19.
Illinois Tech will play seven dates at the Keating Sports Center, which includes a tri-match against Lake Forest and Olivet on September 26. The 2020 season finale will take place at the Washington (Mo.) Tournament on October 30-31.
