Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

Chicago, Ill - While the Illinois Tech Swimming and Diving team has been having success in the pool this season, the team was also recognized for their success in the classroom, as both the men's and women's teams were recipients of the the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America teams for the fall 2022 season.

To qualify, a team must have an overall GPA of 3.0.

The women's team qualified with an overall GPA of 3.12, and was one of 184 teams recognized in NCAA Division III competition.

On the men's side, they also qualified with an overall GPA of 3.12, and was one of 141 teams recognized in NCAA Division III competition.

The CSCAA will recognize teams after the completion of the spring semester as well.

FOUNDED in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, Inc. (CSCAA), is the nation’s first professional coaching association for intercollegiate athletics. Presently, the CSCAA boasts more than 2,000 member coaches and assistant coaches, recognizes All-American swimmers and divers, NCAA record-breakers and Scholar All-America athletes and teams as well as outstanding coaches and contributors, and helps oversee the welfare of collegiate swimming and diving.
