CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Institute of Technology athletic department will have three teams in action over the coming week, as Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s Track and Field, and Women’s Track and Field will all compete on the road.

Women’s Lacrosse (9-3, 4-1) will compete in one of its biggest matches of the season on Wednesday night. Tech is currently on a four-match winning streak and in a four-way tie for first place in the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference. The team will travel to Augsburg College on Wednesday to oppose one of the three other teams fighting for the second spot.

Men’s and Women’s Track and Field will also compete this week. Both teams will head to nearby Benedictine University to compete in the two-day Benedictine University Relays on Friday and Saturday. The men's 4x400 meter relay team looks to come closer to breaking the school record, narrowly missing the mark last weekend at Knox College. Both Joseph Yassin and Taylor Schaub look to continue their strong seasons as well.
