CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Institute of Technology athletic department has one of its busiest weeks of the year ahead, as seven different teams will be in action between now and Saturday.

A night of basketball kicks off the week’s schedule for Tech, as both women’s and men’s basketball play at home for a Tuesday night doubleheader. Both the women (5:00 p.m.) and the men (7:00 p.m.) will host Moody Bible in the Keating Sports Center. Live stats will be available for both the women’s and men’s games. Live audio and video will be available for both contests as well.

Men’s Volleyball will have a busy weekend, as the Scarlet Hawks will play four games in two days at the Loras College Tournament on Friday and Saturday. Tech will oppose Calumet College of St. Joseph (12:00 p.m.) and Cincinnati Christian (2:00 p.m.) on Friday before taking on Loras (2:00 p.m.) and Briar Cliff (6:00 p.m.) on Saturday. Live video and stats will be available for the tournament.

Both Men’s and Women’s Track and Field will participate in the second meet of the season on Saturday morning. The Scarlet Hawks will head north to southeastern Wisconsin to partake in the UW-Parkside Green and White Invitational. Meet time is set for 10:00 a.m.

Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving has one more tune-up before the Liberal Arts Championships in early February. Tech will travel to nearby Wheaton College to compete in the Wheaton Quad on Saturday. The event is schedule for an 11:00 a.m. start.
