Scarlet Hawk Weekly: Big Saturday in Keating Headlines Week

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Tech athletic department has a busy week ahead. Five teams are in action throughout the week, with three of them playing at home on Saturday.

The busy home Saturday features the last home meet of the season for Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving. The Scarlet Hawks host Carroll University at 1:00 p.m. in the Keating Sports Center. Live video will be streamed for the event, which can be viewed here or on Facebook Live.

Starting just two hours later at 3:00 p.m. will be Men’s Basketball hosting #18 North Park University. North Park is the first ranked opponent (according to the d3hoops.com poll) the 10-5 Scarlet Hawks will face this season and the first ranked men’s basketball team since Illinois Tech has been NCAA Division III provisional members. Illinois Media School will produce a live broadcast of the event, which can also be seen on Facebook Live. Live stats will be provided as well.

Prior to taking on North Park, Men’s Basketball travels to Aurora University (9-5) on Wednesday for a 5:15 p.m. tip-off. Aurora will provide live video and stats of the contest.

Men’s Volleyball split its first two matches of the season on this past Sunday. The team continues its season on Thursday evening as the team travels to nearby St. Xavier University. The 7:00 p.m. match will have live video and stats courtesy of SXU.

Women’s Basketball closes out the week for Scarlet Hawk athletics with a match-up at Alma College at 12:00 p.m. central time (1:00 p.m. eastern time) on Sunday. Alma will provide live stats for the contest.
