Men’s Basketball Falls to Anderson on the road

Anderson, IN- The Scarlet Hawks Men's Basketball team traveled to Indiana to take on Anderson University. Going into the game neither team had gotten off to a great start; the Scarlet Hawks with a 0-3 record and Anderson with a 1-3 record. Both teams were looking for a big win coming into this game to gain some momentum to take them into the December portion of their schedule.

The first half proved to be a one of dominance for Anderson. They started the first half on an 11-0 run and from there, they didn't look back. They dominated both on offense and defense outscoring the Scarlet Hawks 59-17. The only player for the Scarlet Hawks that managed to get any offense going was Samuel Rarick, who had 13 points at the half.

The second half indicated a more balanced game from the Scarlet Hawks on both sides of the ball. Even though Anderson outscored the Scarlet Hawks 32-21, the Scarlet Hawks held Anderson 27 less points than the first and scored four more points. Sophomore forward, Samuel Rarick had another impressive game, leading the way with 28 points and 13 rebounds.
