Mosley Jr. Wins Second Player of the Week Award

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - For the second time this season, Illinois Institute of Technology men's basketball freshman Anthony Mosley Jr. has been named The Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week Award. 

The Scarlet Hawks played just one game last week, but Mosley Jr. put forth one of his best performances of the season in last Tuesday's 79-59 win over Moody Bible Institute. The point guard flirted with a triple-double, netting 24 points with season-highs in rebounds (eight) and assists (eight). He also tallied three steals in the contest, making last Tuesday's win the ninth such occurence of the season for Mosley Jr. The Chicago native has also scored over 20 points in seven straight contests.

Illinois Tech is back in action tonight for the first of three games this week. The Scarlet Hawks hsot St. Mary's University (Minnesota) at 7:00 p.m. in the Keating Sports Center for Residence Life and Pizza Night.
