Newport News, VA - As we closed out the first week of Fall sports competitions Illinois Tech was recognized for the stand out performance of Senior Midfielder, Brahadon Ramirez. Ramirez earned this week's United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors. In two games, Ramirez assisted on five of the teams six goals, including all four during the first contest against Waynesburg University of Pennsylvania. In the second game of the Purple and Gold Classic, Ramirez assisted on the game winning goal over the host of the tournament, Defiance University, to win the tournament.
