Newport News, VA - For the second week in a row Illinois Tech has been awarded the United States Collegiate Athletic Associstion Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors. The week two selection was Hugo Hernandez, a senior midfielder from Madrid, Spain. In two games this week, Hernandez posted five goals on eight shots for a total of ten points to lead his team to two victories. This performance was with only starting one oof the games and coming off the bench in the other. Additionally, Hernandez recorded a hat trick in the second half alone against Finlandia University.
