Illinois Tech Men's Soccer Dominates in 8-0 Win

Chicago, IL. – The Scarlet Hawks dismantled Robert Morris University-Springfield 8-0 on Sunday afternoon at Stuart Field.

Brahadon Ramirez buried a penalty kick in the 6th minute to open the scoring. Gus Alvarez scored in the 17th minute off a nice assist from Tyler Haag to make it 2-0. Ramirez would add a goal in the 36th minute to put the Hawks up 3-0. Tommy Gasienica would tally off a Hugo Hernandez assist in the 43rd minute to make it 4-0 at the break. 

Illinois Tech continued their scoring rate in the second half. Emmanuel Zambrano scored in the 66th minute off a nifty double assist from Riccardo Gonzalez and Rogelio Salcedo.

Bart Grabowski, Sam Smith, and Julio Reyes would add single goals to finish scoring at 8-0.

EJ Yang played the full 90 minutes and was not tested. 

Illinois Tech is now 10-3-1 and will look for another result on Wednesday, October 22nd when they host Moody Bible at 7 pm CST.
