Illinois Tech Men's Soccer Wins 2-0 in USCAA National Tournament

Charleston, WV. - Illinois Tech Men's Soccer team won 2-0 over Washington Adventist in the USCAA National Tournament consolation game on Friday.

Junior midfielder Julio Reyes opened the scoring in the 15th minute from an assist from Tyler Haag and Brahadon Ramirez. The score would hold at 1-0- in favor of the Hawks until the half-time break.

Ramirez would tally the final goal of the season for Illinois Tech off a deft touch over the goalkeeper from an assist from Junior Sam Smith in the 80th minute.  The goal would give IIT a 2-0 victory. 

Senior goalkeeper EJ Yang made 6 saves in the shut-out win for the Hawks.

Illinois Tech finished the season with an impressive 13-5-1 record and were ranked 5th in the final USCAA national poll.
