CHICAGO, Ill.- Illinois Institute of Technology men's soccer won its second straight match on Saturday afternoon, defeating Coe College 2-0 on Homecoming.
How it Happened
- Coe and Tech played an even 0-0 first half despite Coe outshooting the Scarlet Hawks 7-3. Tech's defense held strong in front of Anastasios Manolis, who stopped two shots.
- Tech turned the tables on Coe in the second half, outshooing the Kohawks 11-4.
- Noah Griffith scored twice in the half: unassisted in the 50th minute on the team's first shot in the half, and again in the 77th minute off a beautiful pass from Julio Reyes.
- Tech did not allow a shot in the final 10 minutes of the match to hold the 2-0 advantage.

- Griffith led Tech in shots (six), shots on goal (four), and goals (two).
- Reyes recorded the assists on the team's final goal.
- Manolis stopped all six shots on goal he saw in net.

- Shuhei Miyake tallied four shots to lead the Kohawks.
