Men’s Soccer Falls to Rochester

CHICAGO, Ill.- The Illinois Institute of Technology men's soccer team hosted Rochester College of Michigan on Sunday afternoon. The Warriors defeated the Scarlet Hawks 6-0.

How it Happened

  • Rochester started the game off strong with two early tallies, as Matt Gross and Fred Prest both scored in the match's first 20 minutes. 
  • As the half ticked on, Tech was unable to slow the Warriors. Gross scored his second goal in the 36th minute before Erich Leite tallied on a free kick in the 40th minute to take a 4-0 lead into the half.
  • Prest scored his second goal for Rochester in the 62nd minute.
  • In the 88th minute, Romario Georgis scored the team's sixth goal.
