CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Institute of Technology men's track and field team competed in the Windy City Rumble at the University of Chicago on Saturday afternoon. Tech placed eighth in the event.

Meet Highlights

• Cole Dammeier won an event for the second straight week, capturing the 5000 Meter Dash victory with a time of 16:25.49. 
• Joseph Yassin placed fourth in the Shot Put with a time of
• Demis Thomas (10th, 55.70s) and Christopher Lutzow (16th, 57.66s) performed well in the 400 Meter Dash.
• In a large 200 Meter Dash field, John Xavier placed 25th with a time of 24.68s.
