ADRIAN, Mich. - The Illinois Institute of Technology men's volleyball team traveled east to take on Siena Heights on Thursday night. Tech was defeated in straight sets.

How it Happened
- Despite an early kill from Kevin Schroeder, Siena Heights was able to built a substantial early lead. The Scarlet Hawks would go on a late run ignited by a kill from Paulo Sassmannschausen, but Siena Heights' early lead was too large to overcome.
- In set two, Siena Heights once again took command from the start. However, Tech battled back, going on runs of 4-0 and 7-2 to pull back to within seven. Errors halted the Hawk momentum late, allowing Siena Heights to retake control.
- The Scarlet Hawks stayed close with the home team early on in set three thanks to two kills from Michael Drews. After an Alex Babusci kill made it 14-13 in favor of Siena Heights, three attack errors from Tech allowed Siena Heights to pull away for the match win.
Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- Babusci recorded double-digit kills for the fifth straight match, notching 10 to go along with six digs.
- Schoreder also tallied six digs on top of his five kills.
- Drews added five kills and five digs.
- Andrew Woltman led the Scarlet Hawks with 18 assists.
