Chicago, Ill. - Illinois Tech men's volleyball player Jackson Van Engen received first-team all-conference honors on Thursday when he was named to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Volleyball All-NACC team.

Van Engen, the junior Architectural Engineering major, ranked second in the conference in hitting percentage at .385%. 

Van Engen paced the Scarlet Hawks with 197 kills, averaging 2.16 kills per set. Van Engen was one of two Scarlet Hawks who played in all 91 sets the team played in the 2023 season. 

Additionally, Van Engen led the team in combined blocks with 73, averaging .80 blocks per set. He also tied for the team lead in service aces with 18, and points per set with 2.91.
