Men's Cross Getting Stronger at COD Invitational

The Illinois Tech Cross Country teams travelled to St. James Farm in Warenville, IL for College of DuPage Invitational.

"Both teams are moving into the right direction and as the season progresses they will get used to the pressure situations in which runners find themselves during races" said Head Coach Calin Hantau. The Scarlet Hawks will have the opportunity to compete at a meet where they will go against the best teams in the country which provides excitement along the athletes.

''Sam is in great shape and I am confident that he will improve even more as the season progresses. I believe that he can compete with anyone at this level and that he will place high at the USCAA nationals'' said Botezan Raul , the assistant coach. The men finished the meet in 10th place. "We had a few guys that had a rough day and this has affected our team score a bit but we are working our guys really hard in practice in order to have them ready come November 7th" said coach Calin Hantau.
