Men's Cross Country Finishes in Fourth at The Ranger Open

Kenosha, WI - The Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks men's cross country team competed at The Ranger Open on Saturday at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course hosted by UW-Parkside. In the 6K, the men's team finished in 4th place. 

Scarlet Hawk Men's Top Three Finishers

  • Finishing in 19th, Joey Loriso led the Hawks with a time of 29:01.26

  • Not far behind, finishing in 21st, was Nicholas Quigley with a time of 29:07.35

  • Ethan Phillips finished out the Hawks top three finishers as he crossed the finish line with a time of 29:24.56 for 24th place.

Up Next

The Hawks return to action on Saturday when they travel to Logan Twp, NJ to compete at the Rowan Border Battle on the Gloucester County Dream Park Championship Cross Country Course. The women's and men's race will begin at 11:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. respectively.
