Grand Rapids, MI- The Scarlet Hawks traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to take on stiff competition in the form of undefeated Calvin College. Calvin College has been enjoying a brilliant season so far with a 16-0 record coming into the encounter against Illinois Tech.

In the first half, Calvin dominated the Scarlet Hawks on both sides of the ball, holding the Hawks to 15 points and scoring 43 points of their own.

Calvin held Tech to 12 points in the second half while amassing 55 points themselves. The dominance of both halves secured a 98-27 victory for Calvin, moving then to 17-0 on the season.

Brooke Bell and Hailey Borowczyk each contributed 7 points for Illinois Tech. The Scarlet Hawks will look to bounce back against Lincoln Christian on Tuesday January 26th on the road at 7pm.
