Women’s Basketball Drops First Road Game

ST. LOUIS, Mo.- The Illinois Institute of Technology women's basketball team opened up the road schedule on Friday night, falling at Webster University 92-30.

How it Happened

  • After a rough first quarter for the Scarlet Hawks, the team tallied 11 points in the second behind five points from Brooke Bell. Tech trailed 54-11 at halftime. 
  • In the third, Tech held Webster to its smallest point output in a quarter on the night (18), while Brooke Bell put in her second three-point field goal of the evening.
  • Tech scored another 11 points in the fourth behind a seven-point output from Hailey Borowczyk. Webster poured in 20 to bring the game to its 92-30 final.
