CHICAGO, Ill.- The Illinois Institute of Technology Scarlet Hawks took on the University of Chicago Maroons on Monday night at the Keating Sports Center. Chicago defeated the Hawks 69-28.
How it Happened
- Chicago put up 18 points in the first two quarters while holding Tech to single digits in both. The Scarlet Hawks forced eight turnovers in the first half and traded 36-16.
- After a strong third quarter for Chicago, the Scarlet Hawks played strong in the fourth. The team held the Maroons to just 11 points while scoring 10 of their own.
- Four different players scored for the Hawks in the fourth quarter as Chicago shot just 25% from the floor.
Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- April Wanagas and Hailey Borowczyk each tallied nine points to lead Tech.
- Venika Jarvis led the Scarlet Hawks with seven rebounds off the bench.

- Ola Obi tallied a double-double (14 points, 14 rebounds).
