OLIVET, Mich. - The Illinois Institute of Technology women's basketball team played a rare weekday afternoon contest on Wednesday. Illinois Tech fell to Olivet College.
How it Happened
- Olivet's offense was strong in half number one, tallying 41 points while stifling the Scarlet Hawk offense.
- The Olivet offense continued to roll in the third quarter, netting 27 points.
- In the fourth, the Tech offense began to click. The Scarlet Hawks poured in nine points, as Hailey Borowczyk and Lindsay Zasadinski both hit three-pointers.
- Olivet closed the game out on a Leeza Donald three-pointer, sealing the 94-13 win.
Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- Borowczyk led the Hawks with five points.
- Venkia Jarvis (pictured) topped Tech in rebounding with eight.
- Zasadinski contributed three points, three rebounds, an assist, and two steals off the bench.
