WYOMING, Mich. - Illinois Institute of Technology women's basketball took the court on Tuesday night at Grace Bible College in Michigan. The Scarlet Hawks lost 75-38.
How it Happened
- Tech struggled offensively in the first half, as Grace Bible built a large lead behind 19-of-37 shooting.
- Tech's offense started to pick things up in the third quarter, netting twelve points behind Hailey Borowczyk's four.
- In the fourth, Tech put together its best quarter of the season, outscoring Grace 20-11. April Wanagas scored nine points on 4-of-6 shooting in nine minutes.
Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- Wanagas and Boworczyk led Tech in both points and rebounds. Wanagas led the Hawks with 15 points, while Borowczyk added 10 of her own. Both played totaled four rebounds each.
- Brooke Bell added six points off the bench.
