CHICAGO, Ill. - The Illinois Institute of Technology women's basketball team opposed Trine University at home on Saturday afternoon. Tech fell 64-16.
How it Happened
- Tech's strongest defensive quarter came in the first, as the Scarlet Hawks held Trine to just 1-of-13 shooting and seven points.
- The Trine offense picked up in the second quarter, outscoring the Hawks 17-4 to take a 24-8 lead into the intermission.
- The Thunder continued to play well in the second half, posting point totals of 24 and 16 in the final two quarters en route to the victory.

- Hailey Borowczyk led the Scarlet Hawks with nine points.
- April Wanagas added four points with the starting unit.
