WHEATON, Ill. - The Illinois Institute of Technology women's basketball team made the short drive west on Wednesday night to oppose nationally-ranked Wheaton College. The #21 team in NCAA Division III according to d3hoops.com downed the Scarlet Hawks 90-10.
How it Happened
- Tech struggled to established offense in the first half, as the Thunder clamped down on the Hawks defensivley and held them to just six points.
- Wheaton's offense was strong in the first half, tallying 43 points.
- The trend continued in the second half, as the Thunder outscored the Hawks 47-4.
