Chelsea Badiola is a Sophomore from Glenview, IL. 

“Lax.” she says, “Like...chill.” That's Chelsea Badiola's one word to describe Lacrosse. Her agility developed from her other interest in Volleyball and her two years as Lacrosse goalie at a High School in Glenview, IL along with her size-seven feet give her the benefit of quick reactions and speed. Chelsea likes that Lacrosse is not a mainstream sport and she felt very inspired when she attended Northwestern's Summer Camp in 2011. She said “Northwestern has one of the best women's teams in the nation so being able to learn from them and play on the same turf they train on was surreal.” She recently started MMA classes and knows a liitle about BJJ, Muy Thai, Krav Maga, and boxing "which are all super crazy and fun." Needless to say, her boxing gloves are her favorite piece of athletic gear right now. Chelsea's idea of a perfect pre-game consists of headphones in to get in the zone. She thinks about the team, what they need to accomplish and what she needs to accomplish, then she visualizes how we as a team are going to execute everything successfully.
