Beloit, Wisconsin - The Scarlet Hawks started off their 4-day road trip with a showdown against Beloit College.  They unfortunately could not overcome Beloit's 12-goal first half, eventually falling to the Buccaneers 14-5.  

The Hawks had a tough time containing Buccaneer Michelle Dillon as she poured in the first 3 goals of the game.  After a slow start and a 7-0 deficit, Illinois Tech was able to find 3 goals of their own to close the gap to 7-3.  The Hawk goals came from the freshmen trio of Sarah Maciorowski (Chesterfield, MO), Isabel Myers (Hartland, WI), and Cassandra Reineke (Waukegan, IL).  Beloit bounced back with five straight goals to close out the half.  

The second half was a much closer affair as each side scored two goals during the entire 30 minutes.  Reineke put away her 2nd goal of the game and Florencia Carrerou (Sr., Montevideo, Uruguay) scored her 8th goal of the season for the Hawks.
