CHICAGO, Ill. - The Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference has announced the Player of the Week award winners for the week of April 11-17. Illinois Tech's Cassandra Reineke was honored as the league's Defensive Player of the Week.

Tech's lone match of the week came on the road against Augsburg, pitting two teams with 4-1 MWLC records against each other. In Tech's important 11-7 victory, Reineke led Illinois Tech with four caused turnovers. She also tallied three ground balls in the victory.
