CHICAGO, Ill. - Through one week of matches, the Illinois Tech women's lacrosse team already has a Player of the Week honor. Alyssa DeLuca has earned the offensive award from the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference for her performance in Tech's wins over Kalamazoo College and Monmouth College.

Last year's MWLC fifth-leading goal scorer picked up right where she left off, scoring six times in each of the team's two wins this week. Her 12 goals are tied for the conference lead. She also had five ground balls, two draw controls, and four caused turnovers on the week.

Illinois Tech is back in action today (Tuesday) as the Scarlet Hawks oppose Alma College on the road at 4:00 p.m. central (5:00 p.m. eastern). Alma will provide live stats and video for the contest.
