Chicago, Ill. - The Illinois Tech women's soccer team placed 8th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Region VIII poll released on September 20.

The Scarlet Hawks finished the prior week 1-1-0 after dropping a close-fought 1-0 home match to reigning conference champion Dominican University on Wednesday, 9/14, but rebounded with an 8-0 rout of Wisconsin Lutheran on Saturday, 9/17.

For the season for games played through 9/18 for this poll period, the Scarlet Hawks were 5-2-0 overall.
