Temple Leads The Way As Hawks Fall to NCC, IWU, and Carthage

Chicago, Illinois - Brigitte Temple won four of her six individual events over the course of the weekend as the Scarlet Hawks were beaten by North Central College on Friday night, and Illinois Wesleyan University and Carthage College on Saturday.

Temple swam to victory on Friday in the 400 IM (4:54.74) and 100 Breaststroke (1:11.80). On Saturday, she out-touched Carthage Senior Ashley Gladis in the 100 Breaststroke in a time of 1:11.84, and followed up that swim with a victory in the 200 Breast (2:33.83)

Briana Tyler (500 free), Ava Obenaus (1650 Freestyle) and Haley Slator (100 Butterfly) also swam to first-place finishes over the course of the weekend. 

Next up for Illinois Tech are the Coe College Kohawks. Coe comes to Chicago on Saturday, November 15. The meet begins at 1pm at Ekco Pool.
