Women’s Swimming and Diving Competes at Carthage

KENOSHA, Wis.- The Illinois Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving team competed in a double dual against Illinois Wesleyan University and Carthage College on Saturday. Carthage hosted the event.

Scarlet Hawk Standouts

  • The 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Kristin Wills, Brigitte Temple, Briana Tyler, and Jasmine Duke placed second with a time of 1:58.33.
  • Coming off of her LAC Women's Swimmer of the Week Award, Temple picked up right where she left off, winning the 100 Yard Breaststroke at 1:09.31 and the 200 Yard Breaststroke at 2:31.22. Wischmeyer was also strong in the 200 Yard Breaststroke, placing third at 2:38.56.
  • Wills took both the 200 Yard Individual Medley (22:21.11) and the 200 Yard Butterfly (2:22.02).

  • Swimming and Diving competes next at the Phoenix Invite held at University of Chicago. The three-day event will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (November 20-22).
