JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The Illinois Institute of Technology women's volleyball team completed play at the Illinois College Tournament on Saturday, falling to MacMurray and Anderson in straight sets.
How it Happened
- Despite a three-set loss, Tech's loss to MacMurray was tightly contested. The Scarlet Hawks were downed by three or less in the first (25-22) and third sets (28-26). Tech fell 25-19 in set two.
- Anderson played well against the Scarlet Hawks, winning 25-17, 25-19, and 25-13.
Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- Irena Grauzinis led the Scarlet Hawks in kills in both matches, tallying 18 on the day.
- Adriane Walther totaled 47 assists.
- Cassie Hansen recorded a team-high 18 digs against MacMurray and a total of 24 for the day. She also tallied four aces in the MacMurray match.
