Mequon, Wisc. - The Illinois Tech women's volleyball team ran into a buzzsaw Friday afternoon at Concordia University Wisconsin, as the first place and host Falcons took down the Scarlet Hawks 3-0. The Scarlet Hawks fell to 16-9 overall (7-4 NACC). The Falcons improved to 19-3 (10-1 NACC).

After dropping the first set 25-18, the Hawks responded with better play in set two, holding several three point leads throughout the match, including a 23-20 advantage late in the set. However, the Falcons mounted a comeback, eventually taking the set 26-24. In the third and final set, the Hawks fell behind early 3-0, and were never able to get closer than three points at any time during the set.
