Milwaukee, Wis. - 161 Illinois Tech student-athletes earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2022-23 season.
The 161 student-athletes represent a 14 percent increase in qualifiers compared to the 141 student-athletes from the 2021-22 season.
In total, 2,600 student-athletes from NACC schools achieved conference academic honors for this past season.
“These young men and women are extraordinary” said Assistant Vice President - Director of Athletics Usha Gilmore. “I am extremely proud of our student-athletes,” said Gilmore.
Student-athletes competing in the conference must maintain a grade point average of 3.25 or higher for the academic year to be eligible for the honor. Each academic year stands by itself for the determination of this award.
