Chicago, Ill. - The Illinois Tech men's and women's soccer teams both achieved top ten rankings in the latest United Soccer Coaches Region VIII polls released on September 13.

The Scarlet Hawks men's team ranked eighth in the men's poll after starting the season 4-0-0. All four wins were shutouts. The Hawks outscored their opponents 14-0 over the four game stretch.

The Scarlet Hawks women's team ranked sixth in the women's poll, based on their 4-1-0 start. During their five game start, the Hawks outscored their opponents by a 14-5 margin.
