Martin Beck is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Illinois Institute of Technology men's and women's tennis teams.
Before becoming an assistant coach, Beck competed as a student-athlete at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 2013-2015. During his tenure at Wisconsin-Whitewater, he amassed 58 combined singles and doubles wins.
Beck transferred and finished his collegiate career at the University of St. Thomas (MN) from 2016-2017. During the fall season, Beck and his doubles partner Luke Elifson advanced to the fall ITA nationals and earned NCAA All-America honors. Beck ranked as high as 5th in the nation in doubles.
A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Beck graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2018 with a bachelor's in Justice and Peace Studies and then graduated from the University of Chicago's Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice with a Master's in Social Service Administration in 2022.
