Samantha Galicia joined the Illinois Tech Athletic Training staff October 2021 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer through RUSH PT after serving as an Athletic Trainer for Morton High School through Athletico from 2017-2021. While with the Mustangs, Galicia provided medical care, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation to student athletes.
Before Morton Galicia completed her internship with ESPN Wide world of Sports through Select medical in 2017 where she provided medical coverage for amantuer and professional sports. Galicia was also a Student Athletic Trainer at Kaneland High School in 2016 and NIU Women's Gymnastics in 2015.Galicia earned a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Northern Illinois University in 2017.
Galicia is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer, Licensed AT in Illinois, and American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified.
