CHICAGO--The Illinois Institute of Technology athletic department will be recognizing student-athletes on an individual basis as a part of NCAA Division III Week. Leading off the student-athlete profile series is men's basketball sophomore guard Ahmad Muhammad. The Chicago native was a steady presence in the Scarlet Hawks starting lineup in 2019-20 as he started in 24 of 25 games played. He finished third on the team in scoring with 13.4 points per game, and led the squad in three-point shooting with a .388 (50-129) figure. Muhammad, a business administration major, tallied a season-high 31 points in an 83-74 decision over Concordia (Wis.) on January 4, and eclipsed 20 points on two more occasions.
