CHICAGO--The Illinois Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team will welcome six newcomers to their 2021 roster in freshmen Aerex Freeman, Tyler Keating, Henry Rankin, Seamus Kinealy, Derek Sutton and David Vitale.

High School: Brick Township High School boy's lacrosse team captain... Member of the Honor Roll... Also a member of the Brick Township High School boy's ice hockey team.

Personal: Son of Gina and Alex Freeman... Born on February 5, 2002... Biomedical engineering major. 

Tyler Keating | D | Wooster, Ohio | Wooster H.S.

High School: Earned three letters with the Wooster High School boy's lacrosse team... Led the Wooster High School boy's lacrosse team to the 2019 Division 2 Sweet 16... Graduated Magna Cum Laude... Member of the Honor Roll... AP Scholar with distinction... Also a member of the speech, debate and drama teams at Wooster High School... Also participated in the Wooster High School band.

Personal: Son of Adam and Kristin Keating... Born on February 16, 2002... Computer engineering major. 

Seamus Kinealy | D | St. Louis, Mo. | Christian Brothers College

High School: Christian Brothers College High School Boy's Lacrosse Defensive MVP... Participated in the Missouri High School Lacrosse All-Star Game... Took fourth place at the Missouri Robotics State Championship... Two-time Arch Engineering Challenge Champion... Honors Program Graduate... Member of the National Honor Society... Also a member of the wrestling and robotics teams at Christian Brothers College High School.

High School: Competed for the Bay High School football and boy's lacrosse teams... Four-year starter for the boy's lacrosse team... Enlisted as boy's lacrosse team captain his junior and senior seasons... Recipient of the 2018 and 2020 Triple Impact Competitor awards... Named 2018 all-region boy's lacrosse honorable mention, followed by a spot on the 2019 all-region boy's lacrosse second team... Member of the National Honor Society... Four-year Honor Roll recipient.

Derek Sutton | D | Wadsworth, Ohio | Wadsworth H.S.

High School: Named the 2019 Wadsworth High School Boy's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year... Named to the Division 1 All-Region and All-District teams... Graduated Magna Cum Laude... Member of the ski and interact clubs.

David Vitale | G | Midlothian, Va. | James River H.S.

High School: Led the James River High School boy's lacrosse team to the 2019 Virginia High School League (VHSL) Regional Championship... Member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, RHO Kappa and World Language Society... Also a member of the James River High School boy's track & field and crew teams.
