OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Christopher Reed of Illinois Tech men's soccer has been on a roll of late. On Tuesday, he received some recognition, receiving the Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week award for Men's Soccer after two strong matches last week.

Reed scored twice in a double-overtime win over Maranatha Baptist last Tuesday, including the game-winner in the second overtime. The sophomore recorded a double-overtime golden goal for the second straight match and ended the week with nine shots and five shots on goal.

Men's Soccer is back in action on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at home against Concordia-Chicago. Live audio, video, and stats will be available. The live audio will be powered by Illinois Media School.
