CHICAGO—The 1975 Illinois Institute of Technology men's soccer team were led by defensive juggernaut Rafiu Soyebo, offensive weapon Marcel Ugoagwa, along with team captains Bernard Vecerek and Wence Prikazsky. The four-headed monster led the Scarlet Hawks to a 5-3 overall record, which included a 2-1 victory over NCAA Division I Purdue University. 

Marcel Ugoagwa, who led the Scarlet Hawks in scoring with 15 goals and three assists for 33 points, was crowned team MVP. Freshman Wence Prikazsky was voted rookie of the year by his teammates. R. Wozniak served as the Scarlet Hawks head coach.
