Bailey Yu begins her first season as a volunteer assistant swimming & diving coach for the men’s and women’s programs in 2022-23.

Yu competed at Whitney Young High School in the Chicago area and was a four-year member of the team.

Currently, Yu works on the partnerships team for a DC-based think tank. In her spare time, she applies her background in competitive swimming to weightlifting, triathlon training, and doing yoga with her cat, Mimi.

Yu earned her bachelor’s degree in public policy from University of Chicago in 2021. She was involved in leadership activities for professional development and cultural organizations during her time at the university.
