Chicago, Ill. - The Illinois Tech men's tennis team dropped a non-conference match with North Central College 9-0 Saturday evening at XS Tennis Center. The Scarlet Hawks fell to 0-2 on the young season. The Cardinals improved to 4-1.

"North Central came to play" said Head Coach Kris Powell. "We did not show up, and only saw moments of competitiveness. We have to work on our intensity during practice for it to show up in a match. I think they know what they need to work on. We just have to do it" said Powell.
